At the Pre-European Gliding Championships in Vinon from 2 to 9 June 2012, Bostjan Pristavec flew the EB28 edition to first place in the Open Class.

The EBs were once again successful at the 2012 Bayreuth International Competition, which took place from 30 May to 9 June.

At the Swiss Gliding Championships in Birrfeld from 18 to 26 May 2012, Dirk Reich took first place in the open class with the EB28 edition.

In the open class, five EBs took part in the competition from 11 May to 19 May 2012 and took first, second and other top places.

Walter Binder became speed champion with the EB28 edition OLC, and other drivers also finished the season successfully.

31 July – 13 August 2011: Pociunai, Lithuania: Markus Frank wins the Open Class at the 2011 European Championships with the EB29.
