Among the top five places in the Open Class at the 19th FAI European Gliding Championships 2017 in Lasham, Great Britain, three EB pilots placed on the leaderboard.
The European Championships in the 15-Meter, 18-Meter, and Open Classes took place in Lasham from August 13 to 26.
The European Champion is Michael Sommer flying the single-seater EB29R. Holger Karow, with the electric glider EB29DE, achieved 4th place, and Pierre de Broqueville, flying the EB29DR, placed 5th.
