In the Open Class, five EBs participated in the competition held from 11 to 19 May 2012 and achieved the following results:
The team Levin / Schwenk won 1st place flying the single‑seater EB29, followed by Michael Sommer in 2nd place, also flying an EB29.
As the best two‑seaters in the ranking, the team Meuser / Levin flying the EB28 edition placed 5th, and the team Knauß / Kölle with the EB28 placed 6th.
With Franz‑Josef Eder finishing 9th, all Binder aircraft placed within the top 10.
