The German Championships 2019 in the Open Class, the 15-Meter Class, and the 18-Meter Class were held in Stendal from July 8 to 19, 2019.
In the Open Class, a total of 14 EBs took part. The first two places went to Michael Sommer and Felipe Levin, both flying the single-seater EB29R with the new R-wing, which was able to demonstrate its performance capability under the very diverse weather conditions.
In the final results, the EBs took positions 1 through 5, as well as 7, 11, and 13.
The new national team of the Open Class now consists of pilots Michael Sommer, Felipe Levin, Markus Frank, and Oliver Binder.
