The German Championships 2017 in the 15-Meter, 18-Meter, and Open Classes were held in Stendal from July 4 to 15.
In the Open Class, a total of 9 EBs took part. The first two places went to Michael Sommer (EB29R) and Felipe Levin (EB29DR). Both flew with the new R-wing, which was able to demonstrate its performance capabilities under the very diverse weather conditions.
In the final results, the EBs occupied places 1 to 5, as well as 7, 11, and 13.
The new national team of the Open Class now consists of pilots Michael Sommer, Felipe Levin, Markus Frank, and Oliver Binder.
