The 2012 International Bayreuth Gliding Competition, held from May 30 to June 9, once again saw strong results for the EBs.
Uli Schwenk took first place flying the EB29. Oliver Binder finished second, also with his EB29, thereby becoming Bavarian Champion 2012 in the Open Class. With the two‑seater EB28 edition, Ulrich Knauß achieved fourth place.
